En termes simples, la friction est une force qui s\u2019oppose au mouvement entre deux surfaces en contact. <\/p>\n\n<p>Lorsque deux surfaces entrent en contact, la friction se manifeste sous deux formes principales : la friction statique et la friction cin\u00e9tique. La friction statique est celle qui s\u2019oppose au mouvement lorsque l\u2019objet est immobile \u2014 comme lorsque vous essayez, avec un ami, de pousser un objet lourd sur le sol. La friction cin\u00e9tique, quant \u00e0 elle, agit une fois que l\u2019objet est en mouvement : c\u2019est elle qui continue \u00e0 s\u2019opposer au glissement, bien que de fa\u00e7on moindre d\u2019o\u00f9 le fait qu\u2019il soit plus facile de maintenir l\u2019objet en mouvement une fois lanc\u00e9.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"879\" height=\"373\" src=\"https:\/\/kuglerbimetal.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Kugler-Bimetal-articles-friction-force.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25834640\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kuglerbimetal.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Kugler-Bimetal-articles-friction-force.webp 879w, https:\/\/kuglerbimetal.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Kugler-Bimetal-articles-friction-force-480x204.webp 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 879px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Dans cet article, nous nous concentrerons sur le frottement cin\u00e9tique (ou frottement de glissement), particuli\u00e8rement pertinent pour les composants m\u00e9caniques que nous fabriquons. Dans les syst\u00e8mes m\u00e9caniques, le frottement cin\u00e9tique peut \u00eatre \u00e0 la fois utile et nuisible. S\u2019il est souhaitable dans des \u00e9l\u00e9ments tels que les freins ou les embrayages, il entra\u00eene en revanche des pertes de puissance et une r\u00e9duction du rendement dans les bo\u00eetes de vitesses, pompes, compresseurs et autres machines.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Chez Kugler Bimetal, nos solutions sont principalement utilis\u00e9es dans des syst\u00e8mes hydrodynamiques. Cela signifie que, dans des conditions de fonctionnement normales, un film d\u2019huile lubrifiant s\u00e9pare les pi\u00e8ces telles que les arbres et les paliers, r\u00e9duisant ainsi l\u2019usure. Mais, comme souvent dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, tout ne se passe pas toujours parfaitement. Lorsque le film d\u2019huile se d\u00e9grade ou n\u2019est pas encore compl\u00e8tement form\u00e9, les pi\u00e8ces entrent en contact direct, provoquant un frottement susceptible d\u2019entra\u00eener des pertes de puissance. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est illustr\u00e9 par la courbe de Stribeck ci-dessous, qui montre les r\u00e9gimes de lubrification limite et de film mixte, suivis du r\u00e9gime de lubrification hydrodynamique. C\u2019est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment dans les r\u00e9gimes de lubrification limite et mixte que les mat\u00e9riaux Tokat\u00ae de Kugler Bimetal r\u00e9v\u00e8lent toute leur performance.     <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"486\" height=\"343\" src=\"https:\/\/kuglerbimetal.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Kugler-Bimetal-articles-boundary-curve.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25834641\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kuglerbimetal.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Kugler-Bimetal-articles-boundary-curve.webp 486w, https:\/\/kuglerbimetal.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Kugler-Bimetal-articles-boundary-curve-480x339.webp 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 486px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Nos produits sont con\u00e7us pour minimiser le frottement entre les composants en mouvement. Pour valider cette performance, nous avons men\u00e9 une s\u00e9rie d\u2019essais approfondis selon la m\u00e9thode normalis\u00e9e \u201cblock-on-ring\u201d (ASTM G77-17), dans des conditions de lubrification \u00e0 l\u2019huile. L\u2019essai consistait \u00e0 faire frotter un anneau en acier tremp\u00e9 100 Cr6 (60 HRC), pr\u00e9sentant une rugosit\u00e9 de surface de 0,3 Ra, contre un bloc de mat\u00e9riau d\u2019essai, le tout lubrifi\u00e9 avec de l\u2019huile Renolin B10 ISO VG 32, une huile \u00e0 usage g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Pendant les cinq premi\u00e8res minutes, une force de 900 N a \u00e9t\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9e, correspondant \u00e0 une pression sp\u00e9cifique sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 500 MPa, en raison du contact lin\u00e9aire (pression de Hertz). Apr\u00e8s ces cinq minutes moment o\u00f9 d\u00e9bute l\u2019usure et o\u00f9 la surface de contact augmente la force a \u00e9t\u00e9 doubl\u00e9e \u00e0 1800 N, ce qui a conduit \u00e0 une pression d\u2019environ 70 MPa \u00e0 la fin de l\u2019essai, d\u2019une dur\u00e9e totale de quatre heures. <\/p>\n\n<p>Le graphique ci-dessous illustre les r\u00e9sultats relatifs du coefficient de frottement. Dans ces conditions, le Tokat 311 a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un coefficient de frottement inf\u00e9rieur de 67 % \u00e0 celui du CuNi15Sn8 (UNS C-96900) \u2014 connu pour \u00eatre un m\u00e9tal particuli\u00e8rement r\u00e9sistant \u2014 ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 celui du bronze aluminium CuAl10Ni5Fe4.
