Founded in 1854, Kugler Bimetal is one of the oldest industrial companies still operating in French-speaking Switzerland. Initially specialized in manufacturing metal components for watchmaking and machinery, the company quickly expanded its expertise to tribology the study of friction, wear, and lubrication of materials.
Thanks to its unique mastery of antifriction metals and precision casting technologies, Kugler Bimetal has become a key player in the development of technical solutions for demanding sectors such as aerospace, energy, railways, and heavy industry.
A Rare Foundry in Europe
Today, Kugler Bimetal is one of the last industrial foundries still operating in Europe, capable of producing complex, custom-made parts in small or medium series. This rare position gives the company valuable agility and the ability to adapt to high-value projects.
With a team of 60 highly skilled employees, Kugler Bimetal combines precision craftsmanship with state-of-the-art equipment, following an integrated and fully controlled production process.
